Chopping board.
Some rough and not so rough ones that never saw the light of day...maybe one day. I guess today is that day.

Sorry Bro.
Everyone knows a guy like this, the kind that always shows up at the spot without a board. "Hey dude can I have a go on your board?" SNAP! then it's krokodil trane tyd and "sorry bro, I use to have those down". Shirt graphic proposal for another CT based clothing company that didn't make it. We decided on a different idea and we're moving forward with it. I have a feeling most of the work on this blog will be black ink illustrations in the future.....Bad Brains

Yzer-Fontein is brutal.
We spent the weekend in Yzer-fontein. Cool house, cool weather, cool people. This is my tribute. Yzer-Fontein is brutal. I didn't quite nail the writing but hey it isn't something I draw often and I'm still pretty happy with the result. I was listening to the sweet sounds of Boney M on Solid Gold Saturday while drawing this. RIP Motley. Going to miss you, you crazy fur-ball.

1 SPICEEEE!
Man I don't care who you are, If you were messing around Russel Rd in PE around the 90's early Zeros wether you were finishing matric at that fine college or bunking school to go skate Central with your friends who were suppose to be finishing matric at Russel Rd College. You must have had 1 Spicy in your life at least once. Coming back from the club or just the munchies. Spicy chip boxes for next to nothing, while one of your buddies was securing desert in the back of the shop. The guy would announce your order over his mic. The shop's proprietor was like grand master flash with his affro and bell bottoms. What a trip man. Don't even get me started on the meatballs that must've been sitting in those juices in the hot-chef display for like 2 years. Anyway this shit came back to me while talking kak about the old days to some fellow I ran into in Cape Town. 1 Spicy Please! Ok ok I'll never draw type again.
Side Note: I have just been informed by my man Dom that it was called the Rio Burger Hut. OMFG! go check out Dom's graphic ramblings here http://demonicrobots.com/

Party time at the office.
Random thought I had a while back. And by God all the alcohol consumption hasn't dulled my mind enough to forget a gem like this. Or is it a dulled mind that thinks this simple word play is worthy for consumption? Who knows, who cares? Truly South African...well one half at least.

Lucky Cat want's to bless you.
In the interest of balance and keeping our moms happy. Here's the Ying to Evil Cat's Yang. Does it still count if I've been listening to Slayer while doing this? And look at that no rant! Just a reminder, we'll be selling Noon-Gun including our new girls vests at the Labia on Orange this evening.

Lucky cat want's to Kill you!
Once upon a time someone said to me:"Why bother with vectors? You're hand drawn stuff is fine and anyway you can't compete with the guys who do it really well." Well If I followed that advice I could apply it to the rest of my life and go sit in a corner and die. Fuck that I'm glad I don't listen to people who don't know what's up. If I followed that kind of advice I would still be doing some random job instead of drawing for a living. I wouldn't be skating any-more and I most certainly would not have created this EPPING DEATH CAT!
